The main objective of integrated reporting is to measure, interpret and narrate the complex system of processes and activities of the Museo Egizio.
Through the identification of qualitative and quantitative indicators, the dossier (made of a report and an abstract) provides an experimental method to evaluate the activities carried out and the results obtained while maintaining a strategic perspective and an informative purpose. At the heart of the report is the institution's value-creation model, which provides a comprehensive view of the process by which the Museo Egizio generates value in the short, medium and long term, by transforming capital through its processes and activities. The model is based on five strategic directions that guide planning and lead the institution to the expression of its excellence. Through the materiality matrix tool, issues were identified that impact the value-creation model and intersect the strategy, processes and activities, and decisions of the stakeholders involved. Museo Egizio's reporting activity is developed from material themes, highlighting for each of them the strategic perspective and quantitative measurement. The abstract offers an overview of the nine material themes mapped, highlighting for each of them their strategic dimension, the main processes implemented, and the results achieved.
